Cardify ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Cardify mobile applications for iOS and Android, as well as our official website (cardify.kavvos.com).

By downloading, installing, or using Cardify, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Data Collection & Processing (Local-First Guarantee)

2.1 Card Content & Text Data

Cardify is designed as a Local-First creative app. All text, quotes, articles, notes, images, custom fonts, and styling configurations created in Cardify are stored and processed strictly on your local device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your text card content on any external servers.

2.2 Technical & Diagnostic Data

To maintain app performance and diagnose crashes, Cardify may receive anonymized, non-personally identifiable diagnostic data provided automatically by standard Apple Inc. (App Store) and Google LLC (Google Play) frameworks (e.g., OS version, device model, language, and crash stack traces).

2.3 In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Cardify Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details or financial information.

3. Third-Party Services

We never sell, rent, or trade your data to third-party advertisers or data brokers. Cardify integrates with standard infrastructure providers strictly to support core functionality:

  • Apple App Store: For iOS distribution, updates, and in-app purchase billing.
  • Google Play Store & Play Services: For Android distribution, updates, and in-app purchase billing.
  • Google Fonts: For online rendering of selected typography styles within cards.

4. Data Retention & User Rights

Because your card data remains on your device, you have full control over your information:

  • You can edit, export, or delete your cards and settings anytime inside the app.
  • Uninstalling the app or clearing local data completely removes all stored Cardify files from your device.
  • You have the right to request clarification or submit inquiries regarding your privacy rights at any time.

5. Children's Privacy

Cardify does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page (cardify.kavvos.com) with a revised effective date.
